EU:n uuden tietosuoja-asetuksen (GDPR) sekä tiukentuvien asiakasrekistereiden ylläpitovaatimusten vuoksi, Emaileri-palvelussa ei sallita jatkossa ostorekistereiden käyttöä markkinointiviestinnässä. Jatkossa Emaileri-palvelussa sähköpostiviestintää ja -markkinointia voi tehdä ainoastaan vastaanottajille, jotka ovat antaneet siihen lainsäädännössä määritellyn suostumuksensa ja joiden tietoja käsitellään uuden tietosuoja-asetuksen mukaisesti.
GDPR:n määrittelemä tietosuojan taso on lähtökohtana kaikelle Emailerin toiminnalle. Tiukempi sääntely edellyttää muutoksia myös sähköpostimarkkinoinnin osalta, jossa muutos tuo samalla myös mahdollisuuden parantaa asiakasrekisterien ja sähköpostimarkkinoinnin laatua.

Due to EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the more stringent requirements for the maintenance of customer files, the use of purchased lists will not be allowed in marketing communications in the Emaileri service. In the future, it is only allowed in the Emaileri service to conduct e-mail and marketing communications to recipients who have given their consent specified in the legislation and whose data are processed in accordance with the new data protection regulation.
The level of data protection defined by GDPR is the basis for all Emaileri’s operations. The more stringent regulation requires changes to be made also for e-mail marketing, in which the change at the same time creates the possibility to improve the quality of customer files and e-mail marketing.
